Green Dot CEO, Mark Remmert; Dan Rocconi, president and CEO of Bixby International; and Eric Chan, internationally recognized designer will form a panel to discuss sustainable product design from material selection to manufacturing at A Better World by Design 2013 Conference hosted by Rhode Island School of Design and Brown University on September 27-29, 2013 in Providence, Rhode Island.
Cottonwood Falls, Kansas (PRWEB) September 18, 2013 — Green Dot CEO, Mark Remmert, will participate on a panel discussion about sustainable design from product design to material selection and manufacturing. Mr. Remmert will address considerations for material selection of biobased and compostable bioplastics. Dan Rocconi of Bixby International, a global leader in custom thermoplastic sheet extrusion will discuss custom manufacturing processes. Eric Chan, internationally recognized designer, will join the panel to share his insight from the perspective of the designer. These industry thought leaders will stress sustainable design as a holistic process that incorporates creative design with innovative materials and manufacturing.
